Administrative & Marketng Coordinator
The Administrative and Marketing Coordinator serves as a central team member at the Union County Chamber of Commerce, supporting both day-to-day operations and community-facing marketing efforts. This position blends administrative excellence with creative marketing skills to help promote chamber members, support members services, and strengthen community engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for Chamber members, prospective members, and the public (phone calls and in person).
- Manage office operations, including scheduling, supply management, phone/email correspondence, and ChamberMaster updates.
- Support the Chamber CEO, Chamber Director, Tourism Director, and Membership & Relations Coordinator with meetings, board materials, records, and Business Association materials.

- Work with the Membership Relations Coordinator in processing new members.
- Develop and manage content for newsletter, social media, and website to promote Chamber activities, events, and member businesses.
- Maintain the Chamber’s website, event and meeting calendars, and ChamberMaster calendar.
- Support the Chamber Events, including registration, organization, meeting notes and marketing for the Annual Celebration, Golf Outings, and other events.
- Manage all Ribbon Cuttings and Groundbreaking events.
- Fulfill visitor guide/visitor information requests and provide metrics.
- Support special Tourism projects as needed.
- Maintain appearance of the building, including trash removal, cleaning kitchen and public areas, set up and tear down for meetings, etc.
- Other Duties as assigned.

- The ability to oversee events and programs which benefit the Chamber.
- The ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, to prepare and present comprehensive reports to the Chamber and community organizations.
- The ability to keep confidentiality on various organizational issues.
Other Job Characteristics
- Full Time Permanent hourly position.
- State of Ohio Driver’s License and ability to drive is a requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, WordPress, Canva, Constant Contact, and with social media programs is encouraged.
- Experience working for economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, and/or convention and visitor bureaus is an added benefit.
