Job Description

Position:               Applied Manufacturing Instructor
Reports to:           Career Tech Supervisor
Starting Date:       August 2018; Some part-time hours requested Nov. 2017-May 2018 for curriculum design, student acquisition, etc.
Salary Range:    Commensurate with experience (Certified Salary Schedule)
Work Week/Year:    Standard School Year/Extended Days
Preferred Requirements:    A valid Ohio career-technical manufacturing or precision machining certificate or license.
Strong CAD, CNC, PLC, robotics, PLTW, and welding background. Effective organizational, planning, and project management skills. Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement program options, auxiliary services, and curricular materials that support the diverse learning needs of students. Experience in working with career technical student organizations.
Responsibilties:    Using the most recent state standards, provide classroom and laboratory instruction to students for employment or further education in the field of manufacturing. Evaluate student performance and work cooperatively with parents, business/ industry, and school personnel. Serve as a SkillsUSA advisor.
